A Changing Marmaris
Fishing, sea sponge, marble industry and agriculture, was once the livelihood of the region. In the 70′s in Marmaris, orange groves, mandarin and orange orchards were plentiful. During our childhood we used to run in pursuit of balls with the neighborhood children on vacant plots, and play hide and seek in the trees.
