The whole Marmaris area inclusive of its villages and bays is a exciting place to visit during your holidays in Turkey. You can go on all sorts of excursions, see and swim in peerless bays with crystal clear turquiose waters of the Meditteranean Sea.

During the hot summer days a trip to the Turgut Waterfalls or the Kizkumu Beach will do you wonders!

Feel like shopping? The Marmarmis Thursday and Sundays markets are a fantastic place for all your home needs.

The nightlife is quite popular. Take a stroll down the famous Marmaris Bar Street and see all the many clubs and bars to choose from.

Need a touch of history? A lovely tour of the Marmaris Museum Castle in the Old Town may be an idea.  For another type of historical excursion there is always the boat trips to Cleopatra (Sedir) Island.

The villages of Marmaris is a superb trip. If you go by car, starting from Hisaronu all the way to Bayir there is breathtaking views that are not to be missed.

Or you simply want to take it easy, then a calming stroll along the Marmaris promenade that stretches from Marmaris centre all the way to Icmeler could suit your fancy.
