Marmaris Reviews
Reviews are a growing trend on the internet these days. Sites like Trip Advisor, and other popular forum type holiday travel sites are providing the opportunity for holidaymakers to share their experiences in establishments they have dined at, stayed in or visited.
Sites such as forums have been around for over a decade but with new website applications and social media, they have advanced to allowing everyone to share their reviews even easier and more wide spread across the globe. This new trend is quite resourceful, helping individuals wishing to travel somewhere, dine or go for entertainment, make their plans with better judgement.
With the lack of true customer service and quality customer care – globally, it is apparent that there is a true need for real reviews by real people who feel strongly about their experiences and wish to share them. On the other hand it can be quite damaging to the establishments, should these reviews release the worst for them for whatever reason. However damaging, it is required. This should encourage establishments to better educate their staff, increase their quality, and manage their businesses, for the consumers.
At aboutmarmaris.org we are full time residents, locals, and lovers of Marmaris. We care about Marmaris, but we care just as much about those who come from all different parts of the world to see and spend quality time in Marmaris with their family and friends. Just like our visitors, we too spend our time here and dine, go out for entertainment, and visit places of interest; and it is important as customers that we are treated and served properly – afterall we all work for our quality time. As such, we felt that we could contribute through our own little world, something that would be real as well.
So having said this, we have decided to design a section on our website to share our experiences from the time we spend in establishments in Marmaris. Although not everyone has the same experiences, an unbiased true review of our time in these places; whether they are bars, restaurants, cafes, tours, shops, etc., might help to paint an general picture as to whether or not these establishments are worth spending our time and money and rate them as either poor, fair, satisfactory, good, excellent, or the best – with explanations.
In addition to our “starting” reviews, we will have a place on the reviews pages for others who have been to the same places, to share their opinions too. This is so that those interested can make better evaluations from all the different reviews shared by others who have been there done that too.
Each Sunday we will visit one or two places and share our thoughts on our website as well as on all the social media sites we are members of. We welcome everyone to be a part of our new project and hope that it will help others with their holidays plans in Marmaris. It may also be helpful for individuals who live here full or part time. We also hope that it will motivate the businesses to strive for quality customer services and care…. and genuine smiles!
