A Cool Breeze on a Fine Summers’ Day in Marmaris
Today I was sitting at my desk, grateful that we don’t have to use the air con just yet. Why? …because it’s expensive! No not really! It’s because there is a wonderful breeze going through the city of Marmaris, making it such a pleasure to be outside and easier to bare the heat of the sun while your on your lounging chair…in my case, the office chair

Last year in June it was hotter in Marmaris. Even though it’s common for these high temperatures in the Marmaris region, this year its more tolerable. Some visitors to Marmaris come for this heat while others wait until the months of September October and November to enjoy the extended fabulous Marmaris climate. For those of us who live in Marmaris, it’s a nice change.
These types of temperatures make it enjoyable for excursions, daily tours, boat trips and of course our my favorite… Turkish Gulet Charters!
The heat can be bothersome, however a warmish breeze makes for these types of trips a lot easier on the body and mind… now here’s some mixed thoughts… while the cooler breezes make it great… the jeep safaris and quad safaris are awesome in the summer when you’re on them splashing through rivers and creeks, cooling off from the summers’ heat, screaming your face off LOL!… OK well maybe not all of us scream our faces off…
Then again, the breeze gives perfect conditions for those on these fantastic Turkish gulet cruises…! The sails come out and then all of a sudden your back in time of the pirates, rolling over waves! OK just kidding again! Really… it does make the trip more exciting and real. One can also take a superb yacht charter from Marmaris to the Greek Islands too!
All in all, it’s great weather we’re having in Marmaris – so far If you haven’t made your travel plans yet, go online, book your tickets, and come on over! There’s a lot to do!
